Miles simply rolled his eyes. "Right." he chuckled in amusement, watching the look on his friend's face at the thought of impending fatherhood. He'd never had the opportunity to go through this stage of fatherhood, finding out when Liam was five. He had no idea how he'd feel, and well, he figured he'd never know.
He nodded slightly at the mention of the summons. "Not one of my favourite dinners." He swilled the drink in his glass before gulping it down in one mouthful.
"Thanks, we might go use your solicitor. Liam has been rather taken with Daphne," he nodded quietly. "I think he has a thing for blondes." The thought made him smirk. "And Nigel's a good enough kid. Still... I have to ask Liam if he'd like that."
He didn't voice the thought that this might be all a little too much. If he could get the annulment from Daphne tomorrow, then he would, and Liam would be left stranded again.
