When Montague mentioned vomiting, Miles held up his hand. "Ok, enough of this now," he admitted. "That's too much information." But he did manage a snort at the thought of Ginger and her monthly problems.
"Got to keep that Montague dynasty kicking, haven't you?" he said with a chortle.
"Well you'll need three to outdo me, mate," he said rather smugly. "Seems like Daphne wants to adopt Liam, so I offered to adopt Nigel." Now that he'd spoken about it, it was out there, and he really couldn't take it back, but his tone became less jovial, and more serious.
He looked around to see if Cass was listening. He wasn't anywhere near them, thankfully. "I mean, it's really up to Liam, but well, I think that events in Upper Slaughter just freaked Daphne out a little too much. You know we were both there that night? We were summoned to dinner the night before." He let the conversation go serious for a minute.
"But she was terrified, and well, now I think she just wants to make sure Liam isn't going to end up an orphan." When he looked at things like that, he could see her point.
