Cass laughed, shaking his head. 'In all honesty, Miles, I've only flirted with Daphne once, and that was when you had your little broom race, and even then I left,' he said with a smirk. 'Anything else is in your mind alone. I have no interest in your wife, pretty as she might be.'
It was almost odd that it was true, but Daphne had not been all that interesting to him. A fun flirt, sure - especially since it so apparently bothered Miles - but in the end he held no real interest in her, other than her good looks and will to flirt.
'However, if you're feeling so insecure...' he teased instead of thinking about what that meant. 'Are we starting to feel the urge to have a committed relationship? To have a faithful relationship even,' he suggested with a smirk, not mentioning that he, himself, was in one of those.
