He turned from his friend and cousin to almost laugh at the look of confusion on Miles face. Watching Daphne say good bye, he walked up to his best mate, handing him the drink. "I told you I'd stop by for a drink, your wife," he couldn't help the thread of snark at the term, "just beat me to setting up a time."
He'd wait, even as he was bursting to tell them all his news, he'd wait for Miles to settle in and take the lime-light for a spell. It was his party after all.
