Blagden may not have been entirely comfortable, but he would not let this man push him around in his own home.

Mr. Greengrass cleared his throat as Lestrange not only brought up the deaths of his sons, but also the possibility that his daughter was in danger. He could feel his temper rising up into his throat, but he did his best to hide it. Losing his cool would not work well here in the slightest.
"Of course not, Mr. Lestrange," he said, locking eyes with Rodolphus. "I would hope that no one would want to put her into such a position. It would be unseemly for a woman of such status to be forced into such a predicament."
