Cormac rolled his eyes. This was an old argument, one neither of them would ever win. Didn't stop it from being fun though. "Keep telling yourself that if it helps you sleep at night," he said, grinning.
"I like the sound of that. I hate sitting here at this desk," he said. "Even going on patrol around Hogsmeade is preferable. There are always a few drunks to roust out."
Cormac laughed, thinking he and Adrian were the same when it came to surprises. "I know exactly what you mean. Too bad you can't use Leglimancy on him. Would be a useful skill, but probably not good to use on lovers."
Cormac sighed as well. "Well, what is it about having a baby that you don't like? Is it because you don't like kids? Or are you afraid of screwing up? It's important to determine exactly why you're confused." He realized he sounded like a touchy-feely Hufflepuff.
At Adrian's confused look, Cormac realized that he didn't have any idea what had happened between Seamus and Terry. "Fuck. Yeah, Seamus Finnigan," he said. "He and Terry were fucking, and Seamus ended it. I just wanted to know if he was doing well. I've seen him around the office, and honestly? The man does not look healthy."
