Susan was getting just a little frustrated at Cass' inability to see Umbridge for who she was. "Oh just take of your Slytherin blinders for a minute, and you'll realise that there are some things that will never change, Umbridge being one of them. Umbridge, death and taxes." She was emphatic, the boiling kettle venting as much steam as she was.
"She has more hidden agendas than a conjurer, and she cannot be trusted." She poured the tea into the cups before sliding one over to Cass. "She is only looking out for the interests of one person, Cass, and that's herself. Mark my words."
She heard him talk about McGonagall and Umbridge working together, and she burst out laughing. "Oh Cass, please. Now you're being ridiculous. The two of them were at each other's throats. Neither backed down."
As he pointed out the fact she agreed with Percy, Susan shook her head. "Don't try and fob me off, Cass, I'm far from finished. Besides, hell must have frozen over for Umbridge to have come crawling out of her hole, so it's only logical that I agree with him." Passing the tin over to him, she encouraged him to eat the treats within. "Now eat, before we get taxed or fined for having baked goods in the house."
