Seamus felt like she could probably do with reading something light-hearted...and light, really, considering how weak she was at the moment.
"I'll be back soon, then," he told her, letting go of her hand and grabbing the broom leaning against the wall as he walked out of the room. He was glad he'd taken Cormac's extra broom today. Walking all the way to Mandy's from the shack and back would have taken forever.
He made it to Mandy's old house quickly--he still hadn't gotten used to the fact that technically it was his house, as stated in Mandy's will--and then went inside, heading straight towards the little nook where Mandy had always read.
He was quite glad that Mandy separated her books alphabetically by genre, otherwise he'd have spent forever figuring out which books to grab.
He searched through the 'Funny Favorites' section first, grabbing Much Ado About Nothing and Emma. He then found the 'Kid Korner' section and grabbed Peter Pan and one of the many copies of The Secret Garden.
He glanced down at the books in his hands, and upon realising he had four when he had set out just to get one, he decided it was time to go. He shrunk the books down and stuck them into his pocket and then headed back to the shack, grinning apologetically as he re-entered Emma's room.
"Sorry. Took me longer than I thought it would." He pulled the books out of his pocket and brought them back to their regular size and held them up so that Emma could see them. "We've got Shakespeare, Austen, Barrie, and Burnett. Take your pick. They're all muggle. Dunno if you've heard of them or not."
