Percy wasn't much happier about him talking alone with Morag as he was about being discovered, but for once (and Cass had no doubt this would be the one and only time) Percy was even drunker than he was. Then again he'd drank more than twice as much as he had. Bloody man could probably outdrink a quidditch team if he wanted to.
Going straight to the right cupboard, Cass pulled down the sobering potion and swallowed it in one gulp. It was a testament to how much he trusted and cared for Percy that he had not had this in his pocket already. But now as he leaned against the counter for a moment, he could feel it's effects as it cleared the fog of his mind. A moment later he reached up for a hangover potion, and only then did he feel slightly more human.
He turned, watching Morag, not knowing where to start for once. Why hadn't he just left them alone and let Percy deal with her? He was her friend after all, why had he asked her to come? Only he had and now he was the sober one and hence he was the one who needed to speak.
'I- no We, need you not to say anything about this,' he finally started (might as well be blunt). 'To anyone, including your husband,' he said. Merlin don't let her tell that idiot husband of hers.
