"Oh," Antonin said in a voice loud enough to be heard throughout the church, "I heard of her," his usually-absent Russian accent was laid on thick. "When she was appointed Inquisitor at Hogwarts, Ogden resigned rather than have anything to do with her. The document is obviously a forgery of some sort." He winked at Morag. Sometimes it worked to play the foreign boor.
He went back to a whisper, and lost his accent, "You said his wards recognized Cormac as Ogden's fiduciary heir. I didn't ask if you wanted to replace Ogden, I asked if you wanted to follow in his footsteps as head of the Ministry." Antonin jerked his head to where Umbridge was still standing, "This is politics, rather more my strong point then yours, which is why I usually know to try to avoid them. We may not want to avoid them this time."
He turned again to Morag, "Rather than killing her immediately and publicly, and having to leave the country for a while, we can play the game her way, make her life a living hell of red tape and solicitors, and bury her with public opinion and paperwork. Who knows, we may even be able to purchase her loyalty as long as it is convenient."
