Theo only half listened as they spoke of their goals. He had never attempted the animagus transformation himself, wasn't sure if he could or not but had other goals which were more important to strive for. Which reminded him that he needed to owl Severus about a new lesson. Not that he'd tell Blaise that little piece of information, of course.
It was a shame that the man he wanted to trust was the one man he could trust never to understand his double loyalties.
When the topic turned to Nathaniel, however, an expression that was new to him yet already felt completely natural came over his face. 'Nathaniel is a big and strong boy,' he said. As happy as he was with his choice of Montague as a godfather for his child, there was still a part of him that wished that Blaise had been an option. Not that he questioned Montague's devotion, or skill with him for that matter. It was more a wish that his oldest male friend could have been chosen. If only Blaise had not been so loyal to Rodolphus.
