"No, it wasn't pleasant at all." Blaise took another sip of the cognac, feeling more relaxed now. At the mention of Miles, Blaise frowned.
"As much as I'd love to toast you over the demise of dear Miles, unfortunately I have to report that as far as I know, he's as healthy as ever." He paused again, swirling his drink. "No, unfortunately we've managed to lose someone much more important to the cause. You did hear of Lucius' death, correct?" He'd been shocked to hear of it after the battle, certain that Rodolphus would not be pleased. "Apparently Narcissa showed up and took his body away, no idea what she's done with it." He stopped for a moment, an evil gleam in his eye. "Hopefully nothing too disturbing."
It wasn't that he intended to disrespect the death of the senior Death Eater, but Blaise was not the type to get weepy over lost comrades.
