Daphne was glad when she saw Miles smile at her. It was finally void of the pain his leg had been causing him, and she'd heard him walking around earlier, if only a bit slower than normal.
She crossed the distance between them with only a few steps, her hands falling upon his shoulder as she came up behind his chair. "Nigel's sleeping. I did a bit of coloring with Liam, and I think that's what he's still doing."
Daphne began to rub circles into the space between his shoulder blades. "How's your leg?" she asked tentatively. "You seem better."
