Luna nodded when he told her how he'd felt after she left. She'd expected that, but she didn't know what else to do at the time.
She smiled softly when he said he understood. That was one thing she had always appreciated about Kevin - he understood her better than almost anyone else she'd ever met. He never pushed her, and didn't expect things that just weren't her.
She was surprised when he took her hand and looked up into his eyes. She gave him another small smile at his questions. "Yes, you did." She pursed her lips for a moment thinking about what she wanted to say. "You made me feel so many things I never experienced before, and I am glad I got to share all those things with you. I don't know that there could have been anyone better." She gave his hand a small squeeze.
