By the time Cormac and Colin got home, they were cleaned and bandaged up and starving. Cormac was flying high on the fact that he and Colin had escaped unscathed, and had taken out several Death Eaters who were even now unconscious in the prison-wing of the shack. The whole battle was something of a blur--all that stood out was the pure adreninline of fighting alongside Colin, who had more than proven he could take care of himself.
Seamus and Emma were still at Hogwarts, something Cormac was grateful for as he ravished Colin against the front door, and then on the floor of the kitchen as they abandoned their large lunch, and finally in the shower as they washed away the last of the grime from their victory. Cormac left marks all over Colin, who left his own marks as well.
They had finally fallen into bed, a tangle of limbs pressed so close together that had anyone been watching they wouldn't be able to tell where one ended and the other began. He was just drifting off to sleep when the wards let him know someone was knocking--quite frantically--at the door.
He kissed Colin's shoulder as his lover sleepily protested his leaving and whispered, "I'll be right back baby." He pulled on a pair of jogging pants and a clean t-shirt and made his way to the door, exhausted now that the initial energy boost had worn off.
He opened the door, and frowned at the petite witch who stood there. "Morag?" he asked in confusion. His uncle's assistant or bodyguard--whatever she was--had never come to his house before. "What are you doing here?"
