Narcissa was in utter disbelief. The very blood within Andromeda was a gift, as was the fact that she had lived this long. They both knew what an unforgiving, merciless being Bellatrix was, and whether or not Narcissa agreed with her Death Eater sister, the truth was that Bella could have taken Andromeda out of the picture at any time. Andromeda's headstrong facade was shocking for a witch so weak.
"Why do you not talk to Bellatrix about that if it disturbs you so?" Narcissa growled back. "Maybe she would feed you some story just like yours about how Teddy threw a hex at her, and she had no choice, and THEN we could see just how appeased you feel!?" Mrs. Malfoy's tone reverted back into a wail. "I DO have nothing left, and your words mean NOTHING to me!!"
When Andromeda had the audacity to let even a mention of Draco slip through her lips, Narcissa was thrown over the edge of sanity. Draco had, of course, not been the boy he was when he was very young, and she had only just begun to pry him away from Severus's grip. Andromeda had no right to even think of him, to imply that he could possibly not care for his mother! "My son has a club to watch over and immense political power, and above all family to take care of!!" She stepped slowly in the direction of Andromeda. "Forget beauty, I would like to see your freak of a daughter attempt to create something normal with that werewolf- a child the world would even cast its eyes upon!!"
When she had almost entirely closed the gap between herself and Andromeda, Narcissa's tear-covered face grew wicked as her wand stayed extended. "You will show me the reverence I deserve."
