Re: Cass and Bella and Susan
Bellatrix enjoyed the sound that Vaisey made as her curse struck him hard in the shoulder, but was soon disappointed as he rallied quickly.
Hissing a curse, Bella lit the discarded pieces of the net that the Auror had thrown at her on fire, before levitating and throwing them back at her attackers.
A sweep of her wand threw aside the childish attempt to throw dirt into her face, but it still managed to somewhat obscure her vision. She didn't see the three hexes coming at her until the last minute, and although she managed to deflect the first two, she was thrown back as the blasting curse slammed into the shoulder of her wand arm.
Bellatrix's eyes widened visibly as she heard a popping noise, followed by the obvious feeling of tearing muscle. She groaned audibly, sheathing her dagger before clutching her wounded shoulder with her free hand. Gripping it fiercely in her grip, she popped her own shoulder back into place, hissing at the pain that lanced down her arm and back.
This was a most unfortunate circumstance. Her dominate arm was now nearly useless, and she was only barely able to keep a grip on her wand. She switched her wand to her other hand, knowing that although she could cast spells with it, she would not fare well against two opponents for much longer.
But Bellatrix had survived this long because she knew when to fall back. Glancing around, however, she realized that escape would not be as easy as running away.
