Re: Miles & Oliver - Bring it on!
Miles was so pleased to see the broom, and the robes catch fire. He paused only long enough to watch Wood start to spiral downward, sad only for the fact that it was a damn fine broom.
He wasn't totally ready when Wood shot straight back up and he saw a flight of birds heading his way. "Argh," he screamed as he put an arm up to ward off the sharp birds beaks and talons.
He managed a shield charm, and disentangled himself from feathers, but he was starting to spiral out of control, even as he felt blood from dozens of cuts to his face and arms.
Concentrating on where he was flying, he skimmed to tops of the trees, but smirked as he got his broom under control. Ducking under the canopy of the trees, he looked up and spotted Wood searching for him. He cast a quick disillusionment, and shot back up into the air.
He was pissed off now, moreso than before. He gained height and speed as he shot like a rocket directly on a collision course with Wood, his wand blazing hexes from under the concealment of his disillusionment. Every spell Miles could think of, and he shot off a killing curse with ease, the green glow aimed square for Wood's forehead. This was serious.
