Re: Ginny Vs. Rodolphus (+ Archer?) Lotsa pain imminent
When grass attacked, you knew you were in trouble. It was all Ginny could do to fight off the sharp blades, and even then she felt dozens of cuts get through. She was thoroughly distracted, and knew she was in trouble.
And then the soft whoosing sound of an arrow shot past, and must have distracted her opponent long enough for Ginny to banish the last of the blade-sharp grass and fire off a volley of hexes meant to knock out ones opponent. It was only then that she noticed who she was fighting.
Rodolphus Lestrange. Who easily deflected the hexes. Ginny gripped her wand firmly, and stood ready. She wouldn't throw the first spell now, it was far better to have him on the defensive. The glint of his sword gave her pause, however, as she had no weapon of her own. She wasn't skilled with a gun, and hadn't wanted to risk everyone by bringing one. And she definitely didn't have a sword.
Trying not to think about what that sword could do, she stared directly into Rodolphus' eyes, unwilling to show any fear. She couldn't see Neville anymore, but that didn't matter. She had to focus on only Rodolphus. There was no other choice.
