Bellatrix wanted to hex the look right off his face, if it didn't suit him so well. Still, to have it directed towards herself was most infuriating.
"I do not understand why you must constantly keep me in the dark when it comes to your plans!" she growled, taking a few steps towards him. "You ignore my presence more often than not, while I continue to take these bloody potions that seem to appear in my room always on schedule. Or have you decided to provide me with more things that don't work, right? Perhaps you're actually giving me something entirely different, and you've been lying to me all this time."
It was a ridiculous accusation, but she was beyond thinking clearly. "And then to be so bold as to insult me in front of guests. I will not stand for it, dear husband. I am your wife and leader, not your petty mistress."
"Oh, are we resorting to threats now, as well?" she spat, her chin lifted as she stared down on him in that chair. "I'd just love to see you try."
