The hardest part of a meeting like this, Cass found, was not looking to Percy before making the offer to help be among those that flew over the town bombing it. Even the idea of being asked to kill someone wasn't harder than that, as he knew he'd not cast a killing curse unless forced anyway. What he did know was that flying would be one of the more dangerous tasks, because if the protection spells failed, they'd be sitting ducks. He also had a feeling Percy wasn't overly fond of him offering. Still with his skill on a broom, how could he not?
Getting up after Terry had stopped talking he battled between staying and leaving, on the one hand wanting to talk to Harry or Lupin about the plans, on the other just wanting to return home to be with Percy.
Seeing Percy slip through the door, he turned back to face the room. It would be better not to leave together, even if it was what he wanted. Still he guessed a minute or two wouldn't hurt.
