The lonely, almost pensive look vanished the moment that Lee realized he wasn't alone, replaced by an open smile. He'd always been able to do that, though it wasn't that he was exactly trying to hide what he felt. It was just easier in a lot of ways.

HE smiled again. "Damn near about to die of thirst. Think you can help a man out?" he asked good-naturedly. Walking all around town for a few hours really had about stuck his tongue to the roof of his mouth.
