'Honestly, Pans, I'm not too fond of it either, but Percy has a point when he doesn't want to tell people. It would mess with our careers, possibly have us lose our jobs, not to mention that people would try to use me to get to Percy all the time.' He looked down at her before leaning his head against hers. 'It's just a too high price to pay,' he said with a sigh.
'I know I could most likely trust Harry, it's just...well Percy doesn't. Besides, Harry is friends with the rest of Percy's family, and as Percy isn't I think he'd be the one of the last persons on earth Percy would want to know about it.'
He did smile at how easily she'd taken to Percy, chuckling as he remembered the conversation with Percy at the ball. He'd been right, and it did make him feel slightly smug. 'You'll have to come visit us sometime,' he said with a smirk. 'And Merlin that sounds odd to say,' he added with a laugh, as Pansy sat up to take the basket. He bit his lip, waiting for her to see the kitten, and had an utter smug look on his face at her reaction.
'That's why I left it out there,' he said. 'So is it gorgeous enough for a goddess?'
