Terry sighed, just drinking in the feel of Ernie against him, and didn't even let himself get upset when a soft noise startled Ernie into drawing back. "Hey, it's okay," he reassured Ernie. "I understand. And we said slow, remember? And slow does not include making out in your place of business. No matter how much I'd like to."
He reached up and stroked Ernie's cheek softly, and then sighed. "I have to get back. It's going to be dark soon, and I don't want to walk back in total darkness." Actually, he wished he'd thought of a carriage, but it'd been such a beautiful day he hadn't minded the walk down from the castle.
"I'll see you Saturday then?" It was too long to be apart. Not when he just wanted to sink into Ernie's arms and not surface for days. He was so tired, and that sounded like a little piece of perfection. "Or before. I might not be able to stay away." If he stayed up late tonight and tomorrow, he might be able to give Ernie all of Sunday, as well as Saturday night. He'd make it work. Somehow.
