Daphne giggled as she watched Liam play with the other two boys. Nigel seemed so happy, which in turn made her beam proudly. "I'm sure you will, Liam. You should teach him 'yes' and 'no' soon too," she suggested, nodding. "I'm sure you'll keep all those bad pirates away from me."
She looked to Ernie, who was coming back over with a rather large bag. "Thanks," she said, smiling. "Liam, dear, grab my money pouch, please?" She explained to him how many of each coin to count out, before instructing him to hand them over to Mr. MacMillan. Then she shrank the grocery bad with a quick spell before tucking it away in her bag.
Daphne nodded. "Okay, okay. Honeydukes it is." Merlin, she hoped he calmed down a bit after Ben was out of sight. "Thank you for your help, Ernie," she said, nodding to him. "And it was nice seeing you Terry," she said before looking down at Ben. "And you too Ben. Liam and I will see you at the party."
Then she took Liam's hand again and led him out of the store. That had been far more excitement than she'd needed for one shopping excursion, and Merlin knew how crazy Liam would get at Honeydukes.
