Terry turned back to look at Seamus, and bit his lip uncertainly. "I think it was a bit of us both taking advantage of the other." He rubbed the back of his neck and glanced away.
"It's really okay, Seamus. I understand," he said, wishing Seamus would just leave. He really wanted to just be alone, but he didn't want to make things more awkward with Seamus. "Let's just...call the past few weeks a failed experiment. They happen all the time, and it's no one's fault. The variables are just incompatible sometimes."
