“Didn’t feel like it,” she said with a thin crooked grin, “but yes. How far is she?” Hestia asked, trying to make conversation, though she knew she wasn’t very good at the whole ordeal, she needed friends of some sort- looking herself away with two tots was not good for her social skills.
The younger man seemed rather proud of his sisters’ and at that Hestia’s head tilted, entranced for a moment. She wondered what that would be like- to have such a bond with a sibling. She and Ginger had never got on… Though the fondness for the dog was much easier.
Internally shaking her head, she turned around to grab to mugs and pulled out her wand, waving the beans and grinder to her. “Crème and sugar, right?” She asked, looking over her shoulder before quickly grinding them and adding them to the coffee maker, the scent of the beans calming her nerves (she was getting addicted again).
Out of the corner of her eye she watched Val with the dog, Bane (if she remembered correctly), before turning around to face Lee. “They do. I haven’t seen Valery smile so much.” Hestia said with her own slip of the same.
