Miles knew that arguing when he wasn't completely sober wasn't the best thing he could do - she would most likely twist words and make him say something he didn't mean.
He was starting to get a throbbing headache, and remembered that damn bonding spell. He raged even more at the thought, only to feel a backlash as the pain in his head spiked more.
Running his hand through his hair, he just sighed. "Just don't question my judgement on this, I know what I'm doing." He had already turned, and was stalking back to bed, when he heard her walking the other way down the hall.
"Where are you going now?" he asked with a grumble.
