But his amusement was short lived as Daphne seemed to be more frustrated than anything else. He shouldn't have interrupted their kiss, as he could feel the way that her body was leaning into his.
Shaking his head, he pulled her back in closer. "No, that's not it at all," he said apologetically. He was about to say more about Aurelie, when he saw just how much it was bothering Daphne.
"I'm not angry," he said softly, stroking her cheek. "And I won't mention her again." He let out a soft sigh, stroking her shoulder.
