Daphne gave him an amused smirk. "Good point. And here I thought you were turning into a gentleman." She was mercilessly teasing him, and they had needed a good laugh.
She smiled at his response, her lips pressing against his with just the tiniest bit of insistence. Things had been so stressful lately that they'd barely had time to themselves, and she'd found she'd missed it.
But then he started getting all bent out of shape and talking about hexes. "Well, excuse me. You looked rather serious when you said it," she said, pouting now. "I want to hex the woman every day, and fine. Merlin forbid if I ever act like her at any time, you have every right to hex me." She said, putting her hands up as if in innocence. "But it still won't happen."
She sighed dejectedly. "Please don't get all angry. I don't want her existence to be the bane of any more of my days," she said, looking at him pleadingly. "Let's just forget that she was ever here, okay?"
