Daphne just sat back and watched after Liam was finished eating. Miles tucked his son into bed, who seemed to grow more and more tired by the moment.
Nodding at her husband's words, Daphne gave him a knowing smile. "I know," she said softly, knowing she didn't need to say anything more. She moved to him, and slipped her hand into his comfortably.
The boy would easily fall asleep on his own, she decided, and it wasn't long after he finally shut his eyes that his breathing slowed and he drifted into slumber.
Daphne noticed that Miles had finished his coffee, but his eyes still looked so heavy. "You should get some sleep too, Miles," she said quietly, not wanting to disturb Liam. "I promise I'll take care of things."
