Daphne just snickered a bit at his response, shaking her head lightly. She didn't think she'd ever heard the word come out of his mouth jokingly or about anything, so it had momentarily caught her off guard.
Placing the food down on one of the tables beside the bed, Daphne first handed Miles his coffee. "You're welcome," she answered, just as warmly. "Just be careful. It's still really hot."
Liam seemed to be tired again when she came back, but she tried to get him to eat something anyway. She lifted the straw on the milkshake to his lips, happy when he didn't refuse it.
She'd grabbed another sleep potion on her way back just in case he needed it, but as Liam began to slowly eat, it seemed like he'd simply fall back asleep on his own. That was a good sign in itself, and Daphne smiled softly.
