"Hey, I never said I knew anything about Quidditch," she told him, giving him a smirk. "But I'm not too shabby at flying, so I guess it all evens out in the end."
"The only reason it screams of my brilliance is because I'm a huge klutz and hurt myself far too many times with the damn candy before I realised that it should be cushioned. You'd have the same idea if you had tiny candy-shaped welts on your forehead." She giggled a little, but she wasn't entirely sure why.
She grinned bashfully when he complimented her eyes, and she looked down at the floor. It really was so not on that he could have this kind of affect on her.
"Thanks," she said, biting down on the inside of her cheek to keep from smiling too much. She pulled out the smallest candy in the bag and held it in front of him.
