Okay, that wasn't completely fair. The school had needed teachers, and educating the younger generation was important. She'd really not meant to leave her fellow Aurors hanging... it had just happened. She tended to get very caught up in whatever she was concentrated in at the moment, and Hogwarts had simply ended up being that thing for the past few months.
"We're fine, thanks. Doing well and all." Dora looked sheepish as she took the chair offered. "Well, I happened to walk up to Hogwarts with Cass Vaisey the other day, and he mentioned that we were a bit short staffed down here. I'm sure you know I've been teaching up at the school for awhile now, but even with Minerva's condition, I think the school is in a position where losing me for awhile wouldn't be the worst thing that happens," she said.
"I've been an Auror for about ten years now, I have to say I'm itching to get back to active duty. I've unique abilities, I feel like I should be using them for something useful."
