Summary: Having taken care of two idiots, Kevin goes to take care of a third and difficult one
Kevin took a breath as he stood in the alleyway after Apparating. He'd done four jumps to and from Hogsmeade, forgetting how tiring it was. But it was necessary, especially since it would bring him closer to what he wanted.
He waved his wand, setting the glamour before walking into the dirty streets. He was in the very south of England, the southernmost tip to be exact. He didn't know the name of the town, but really didn't care. It was old, gritty, tough town that One could easily get hurt in. It was also one of the best places to get information if you had the bullocks to brave it.
And he was brave enough, though not for that reason. He'd already taken care of the man Frost and one of the women yesterday. Dealing with Frost was easy... the male ego could be trampled so easily with just a few simple words. He'd not left until the man had written Theo. The woman yesterday was a little more difficult, but he'd dealt with her accordingly. Watching her cry in agony as she believed her face was being sliced (it was only an illusion caused by a few charms) was a bit irritating, but her re-dedication to Theo was satisfying (and he too waited until she had written Theo before leaving).
But he knew this one was going to be tough. No one who lived or worked in this area would be too easy to break, especially when it came to giving information. He had tried a few bars and made discreet inquiries (It was amazing what a little money could get you) and it led him to a third bar where his quarry waited. He saw her sitting in a corner booth, deliberately not drinking, almost daring someone to approach her. He sat at the bar and ordered a stout, reducing the alcohol content magically, while keeping his eyes open. He wanted to be fully alert for this little bit of fun.
