Daphne resisted the urge to roll her eyes, reminding herself that she needed to be patient with him, even if he was barely still running a fever. "It's Daphne," she said calmly as she flicked her wand to close the curtains completely. The sliver of light vanished, although there was just enough seeping through the fabric that Daphne could at least see what she was doing. "Better?"
She slid her arm underneath his neck to help him lead forward before placing another pillow behind his upper back, sitting him up enough that she could put the cup to his lips and he could drink it without spilling it all over himself. "Yeah, I know..." she said, knowing exactly the kind of joint pain he was probably dealing with.
Daphne shook her head, casting a privacy spell over them so that the boy wouldn't wake from hearing them talk. "He's exactly the same," she said. "I'm just relieved that it doesn't look like he's going to get any worse. He's still eating a bit, and his only huge complaint is his eyes."
