Daphne smiled. "Really, really big. I promise," she said, nodding.
"Well, I can't argue with that logic at all," she said, chuckling. At the mention of roaches, Daphne became a bit confused, if not a bit grossed out, when Ella continued to say that they hadn't been real. Well, that meant that the girl had been quite sick after all, if she'd been hallucinating. She wasn't quite sure what was boring about that, but she wasn't about to say anything.
Instead, she nodded. "Well, no roaches attacked me," she said. "But I thought a bad man was trying to hurt Liam's daddy and I at one point. It was very scary, but it wasn't real either."
