Daphne's face fell at his words. Anymore death...? She hadn't heard about anyone dying.
She listened as he continued to talk, and she started to grow a bit paler. This whole thing was far worse than she had ever thought it would be. The only deaths Daphne had ever really had to deal with were her brothers, and she'd never been particularly close to them. "A former classmate?" she asked. "Who was it, if you don't mind me asking." After all, they'd been in the same year, chances are she knew whoever it was.
Daphne visibly winced at the mention of his girlfriend. "I'm so sorry, Anthony," she said, knowing there was nothing else she really could say to that. And she couldn't tell anyone about how she had recovered, which only started to gnaw at her conscience a bit.
She nodded then. "It does seem like that, doesn't it? Only without the green skin, and quite a bit stronger."
