Percy didn't have to look at Cass to know what those words cost him; he didn't have to hear the concerns in his voice. Percy knew. "Are you still breathing?" he asked with a smile.
He finally opened his eyes and looked at Cass. "Staying here or going home won't make a difference. You have access to the house and can come in and out, but there is no reason for you to stay there while I sleep. You'll get bored, and Plato's dialogue skills are somewhat limited. I do appreciate it though."
