"See," she said, tapping her finger to her temple. "I told you I was smart." She chuckled a bit at his facial expression, leaning back against him as she finished off her sandwich.
"Nothing like a sugar high to make Liam happy," she said, laughing. "Chocolate cake I can do, but how much screeching will Romilda do if I try to use HER recipe? We all know she'll probably want to show up at her son's birthday, after all."
Daphne shrugged a bit. "Don't worry, I don't expect you to plan a thing. Women were always better at that sort of thing." Then she nodded. "We have plenty of time."
She found it strange, and a tad comfortable, that they were making plans for more than a month into the future, as if they both knew that they'd still be together then. Then she reminded herself how insane she was being, and that she shouldn't let a magic spell effect her mind so much.
Daphne smirked even while she tried to look somewhat offended. "Who ever said I was afraid?" she said, her eyes fiery. "I just thought maybe you'd like to keep a girl warm."
