Daphne wasn't used to him speaking to her so softly. He'd been watching over her ever since she'd gotten ill, but his speech had changed a bit since she'd started to get better. She couldn't be sure if it was relief, or something else.
The wind felt great against her recovering skin - glamour didn't relieve the light itch that still seemed to was to persist. It was a positively gorgeous day outside, and she really couldn't have asked for better, as she noted that there was only a light breeze. Daphne could hear light waves as they flew over the edge of the cliff, and she tightened her grip only ever so slightly as she looked down at how high up they were.
A small smile spread across her lips when he called the beach 'ours,' not bothering to remind herself that it wouldn't be 'theirs' for very long.
They landed lightly on the sand, and she waited til the broom had completely stopped before she dismounted, pulling her shoes of after her feet hit the sand. There was nothing worse than getting sand in your shoes, after all, and she certainly didn't need a rolled ankle on top of everything.
A gentle breeze continued to flow through her hair, and she brushed it away from her face as she inhaled the scent of seawater. "It's beautiful," she said softly. She hadn't been to the beach since things with her family had been better.
