Daphne raised a brow, chuckling. "Oh, I see. I had no idea you had a private beach, Mr. Bletchley. Now I just think you're trying to impress me," she teased, leaning against him as his arm came around her shoulders.
"I'm sure you'll be able to keep me warm," she said, chuckling. "I'll let you know, I promise."
Daphne laughed at his comment on the food. "I don't think my stomach is up for seafood yet, anyway," she said, shaking her head. "One step at a time, right?"
She followed him as he collected his broom and they stepped outside into the sunshine. She narrowed her eyes against the bright light, her eyes far too used to being inside. Taking her seat behind him, she slid her arms around his waist and leaned the side of her face against his back between his shoulderblades, and she squeezed to let him know that she was ready.
