SIENA | When Warhawk misses a crisis, his absence is very much noticed. It was totally unlike him to miss a good fight and Siena took that as her cue to actually go talk to him as Charlie had wanted. She rode her bike out to Midway City, thinking of using it as an excuse to at least talk to him. It wasn't like she could damage the bike (she's tried), but maybe she could talk to him about some upgrades and maybe they could just.. talk. Siena wasn't too sure how this would work out.
Parking her motorcycle in front of his garage, Siena tucked her helmet under her arm and headed toward the stairs around the side that led to Rex's apartment. It's been so long since she's been here and she gets a weird sense of déjà vu as she reaches the top of the stairs.
TATTOO DAWN | As Siena reaches the top of the stairs, Tattoo Dawn is walking out the door and onto the balcony. She's wearing boots, a small skirt and a small top, and her body looks nearly entirely covered with tattoos -- because anyone can see nearly all of her body. She smiles at Siena and walks past her, leaving the door open and heading down the stairs. "Got here first," she says teasingly in passing.
SIENA | Way to make Siena look conservative. Of course, Siena was wearing her cropped motorcycle jacket over a tank-top, jeans, and boots. When she's not dressed as Redbird, Siena tends to lean toward the more coverage. Siena's eyes widen as they land on this other woman and she turns slightly to watch her slink down the stairs. Siena ignored the drop in her stomach and turned toward the open door without so much of a word to the skank that just exited Rex's apartment. Siena steps through the door tentatively.
REX | The door leads right into the large living room of Rex's loft, and there he is on the hardwood floor. He is shirtless in a pair of jeans and convulsing with his left arm curlwed up tightly to his chest. His eyes are rolled back, making it debatable if he's even still conscious right now.
SIENA | It's only a second before Siena notices Rex on the floor. All sorts of bad feelings wash over her and maybe that sense of déjà vu wasn't too far off. Siena promptly drops her helmet near the door and rushes over to Rex, dropping to her knees. "Rex!? What's wrong. Rex." She tries to urge him to say something, anything. She gulps as she glances over him, unsure how to help him. Is he having a seizure? She doesn't know what to do, opting to grabbing his head to try to get him to come to. "Rex, snap out of it. It's Siena. Come on, baby." Slip of the tongue, really. She's that worried.
REX | Every muscle in Rex's body seems to be flexed and tied up with tension. He left arm snaps away from his chest, slamming loudly against the floor to his side as his body arches up. The claw tattoo on his chest is exposed, showing the claw strangely balled up into a fist on his chest. It's even moving slightly -- in ways that don't match the movement of the muscles beneath it.
SIENA | Siena's mind reeled, trying to figure out what to do. She didn't want to leave Rex and she almost contacts the Watchtower with her comm device... until her eyes land on his claw tattoo. It's one with which Siena is familiar and it.. wasn't ever like that. She holds her breath as she watches it carefully, moving separately from the tension built up in Rex's muscles. Siena's jaw clenches and she pushes herself to stand.
TATTOO DAWN | Feeling very satisfied with herself, Tattoo Dawn steps off the curb as she walks away from Rex's place. "Hm." Should she stay in Midway for a couple more days and have some fun, or just leave town now? She's leaning towards just leaving, because she's had her fun here already. At the sound of glass shattering, she stops in the street and looks up to see that girl again -- having just crashed through one of the windows up on Rex's loft. "What a bi--"
SIENA | That skank would've seen the bottom of Siena's boots as she promptly knocks her to the ground and lands on top of her. Siena doesn't waste a second, pinning a knee to the girl's chest and striking the girl's face hard with her fist. It took only a split second in seeing Rex's tattoo for Siena to equate that something wasn't right and this tattooed bitch was the most likely suspect. Even if she didn't do it, she still left Rex like that and Siena had a lot of bad feelings to let out. Siena continued to wail on the girl as she pinned her to the ground with her leg, not giving her much of a chance to fight back. Blow after blow against her jaw, nose... Siena was messing up her pretty little face.
TATTOO DAWN | Oh, it's that girl. Tattoo Dawn thinks Redbird seems a little upset! A snake slithers up from a corresponding tattoo on her arm, slipping up around Redbird to stop the beating. Tattoo Dawn uses the distraction to push and crawl away, spitting out some blood as she rolls over. "Uuuuhn... and what're you doing here, huh? He wanted my help -- not yours, bitch. He skipped over you and came to me. Heh... he doesn't get to change his mind." She pushes herself up, wobbly straying to her left as she gets to her feet. Has her snake killed the bitch yet?
SIENA | Snakes. It had to be snakes. Siena braces herself against the snake's strength, trying to manage to keep herself from being suffocated. Spending all her upper arm strength on that task, Siena staggers to her feet as the snake's mouth snaps, catching on her jacket. Siena was intent on one thing and it wasn't letting that bitch get away. "Because.. because leaving him like that is so.. much.. help.." Goddamn snakes. Siena struggles against it but is pretty determined that she doesn't need her arms for this. She manages a few steps before she hikes up her foot to shove the girl back over, anything to throw off her balance.
TATTOO DAWN | "Oh well!" Tattoo Dawn laughs as she falls over again. She doesn't care. She'll kill Redbird too -- just for fun. Just because she had to show up tonight, thinking that she was going to help Rex. "I tried, huh?" Tattoo Dawn rolls away from Redbird and the snake, still giggling even though it hurts to do so.
SIENA | Siena is really getting pissed off because of the snake and the girl's laughter. She manages to get a free hand and snatch the head of the snake, squeezing it in return. The snake writhes before it dissipates into a black smoke. Then Siena's attention turns to that girl. The girl doesn't get too far before Siena reels her boot back and kicks her in the ribs -- once, twice. She bends over to get a good grab of the girl by the hair and pull her up. What? It's not like the girl had much clothing on for Siena to use as leverage. With a swift backhand across her face, Siena mutters under her breath. "Should've just left him alone."
TATTOO DAWN | Bitch killed her snake! The smoke trails back to Tattoo Dawn and resumes the form of a tattoo on her skin. Before she can decide what to call up next to kill Redbird, Redbird's boot beats the air out of her. She reels from the following backhand and bounces head first off a car parked at the curb, slumping against it.
SIENA | Siena just lets the girl falls whatever way she falls. Stretching her hand out, she goes over to the girl to make sure she's out. Seeing how that tattoo worked gives Siena some wishful thinking about Rex's condition now that this girl is knocked out. Glancing up at the window through which she jumped, Siena heads back to the stairs, taking them two at a time.
