What you do is predictable and violent and selfish, like those who came before and those who will come after.

I did step up, but you were cowardly and put Octavia in front of you. I would have very much liked to fight you, Clarke. The Earth would have soaked in your blood for what you did to me and so many others.

I'm sorry for a lot of things in the past that I'll never be able to change, but I'm not going to dwell on it. This is a second chance for us. We can have whatever life we want here.
