Riza stared at the two men, wide-eyed as she listened, but she recognized that look on Roy's face. He was firmly digging in his heels, and Edward would have a major fight on his hands. They were so much alike, and in all the bad ways.
Riza stepped up to the bar, moving between Ed and Roy to get into the older man's direct line of vision. Taking a cue from years of watching Al, she fixed her expression in what she hoped was a pitiful puppy-eyed look of pleading.
