WHO: René Merle and Lexi Verne WHAT: Shopping and gossip! WHERE: The Village! WHEN: Some point this weekend WHY: Because boys just want to have fun? RATING: Low STATUS: Incomplete
Lexi had a good four or five bags in hand, from various salons and boutiques. He had new shoes, cute little Victorian boots and a new pair of long black stockings and a cute chunky knitwear dress and new make-up. Nothing for Halloween. But they hadn't been out long and more to the point, he was having fun. René spent a good deal of time with his boyfriend and Lexi was of course busy with one thing or another- which normally involved sneaking out of school to Marco's apartment, to be with him as soon as night fell and now winter was approaching, it meant he was spending far more time up and awake with Marco and more time avoiding lessons in order to sleep.
Thank goodness his attendance record had never been particularly good, otherwise his behaviour would probably have been noticed by now. He was finding himself a little grumpier sometimes, but some of the horrible Quillory boys were saying, loudly, that it was because Lexi had sworn off men and now wasn't getting any.
Lexi must have been a better actor than he'd thought, considering that even the 'great' Théo Lisle seemed to believe it was true, that the feminine creature wasn't seeing anyone. With a quick thought to the poor bruised inside of his thigh- and the pinprick bite marks there- Lexi couldn't help but think how the Quillory's couldn't be further from the truth.
"Coffee?" He suggested then, wondering what time it was, but there was no reason why they couldn't stop now. "Or something stronger?"
