Beater Banned For Boyfriend Beating
By Baptiste Bertrand
In a dramatic scene yesterday evening the sordid relationship between two new and promising Quidditch players was revealed. Brice Gaudet and Mercedes Rye (both 19) have recently joined Quidditch League teams from Benoit Lycées de Sorcellerie.
Sources close to the pair disclosed that the homosexual relationship between the two has always been rocky since it's beginnings almost two years ago. But this morning our reporters saw hard evidence that proves the relationship is not only unhealthy, but verbally and physically abusive. Journals used by the pair were seen to contain violent imagine, abusive language and even death threats.
Rye, signed only a few months ago with Rouen Raiders,
has a history of violence, instigating fights and self-harm during his time as Quidditch captain at Benoit. He was known in the local area as a trouble-maker and was banned from various businesses for his unsocial behaviour. Clubs can not afford to back this sort behaviour which could lead to criminal prosecution. As such, Rouen Raiders have today pulled Rye from their line-up for their Under 20's friendly against Paris All-Stars this Saturday, and may also be reconsidering Rye's contract. The club has not yet made a formal statement.
Gaudet, who has not yet officially played for his new team Marseilles Marvels, was not available for comment. It is believed by close friends that he is considering ending his relationship with Rye and making charges with the Aurors.
