Marco nodded a bit, shifting on the bed to lay on his side, his hand propping his head up, facing Lexi. "Good," he said quietly, when Lexi promised not to tell. His hand settled on the blonde's hip, thumb stroking over the skin gently. There was a soft side to Marco, the one a lot of people didn't see. He did that on purpose, of course - softness was weakness, and he couldn't have that. Lexi had a way of seeing through him sometimes, same as Henri.
He was starting to feel guilty when platinum hair swept back over the curve of Lexi's shoulder and exposed his neck, and for a moment, Marco's eyes were locked on it. His mouth watered a little, and then he realized that Lexi was talking to him. "Yeah, someone. It did kill them at first," he answered him honestly, meeting his eye. "Got practice, got better. Now I can stop myself."
Of course, there was still the urge to kill sometimes, but Marco had had that long before he became a vampire. He suspected it was why they turned him to begin with and didn't just kill him.
