Who: Kol and Bonnie What: What round is this now? When: Tonightish Where: Around the city Warnings: LOL.
Kol didn't want any part in whatever quarrel that Elijah and Nik had found themselves in. While entertaining to the younger brother to see the two come to a head, it was none of his business and likewise, he could care less about the while situation as it was. While he and Nik were seemingly getting along rather well, Kol knew now that Elijah had arrived, it would change eventually. Kol knew his place unfortunately and he knew he didn't belong in Nik's good graces, no matter what Nik had said about the two of them finding common ground. As far as Kol was concerned, just because Nik had made his peace with some other Kol in a foreign body, it still wasn't him. Kol didn't remember, nor did Nik ever utter those words that the younger original knew his older brother would never say. It was no bother. Kol could be choked up about it if he let himself care and perhaps he did care if not for a tiny bit, but as of now, he wasn't thinking about his brothers. They could destroy each other for all he cared about it if he were fully honest with himself, but Kol knew that it would be a matter of days, perhaps a week until they were back in the others good graces and it would be as if nothing happened at all. Part of him longed for Rebekah, but she was just as guilty as the other two were.
So while Kol decided to distract himself from his family woes for the evening, he found himself walking along the strip, merely checking out those that passed him. He was feeling peckish. He had decided to forgo the pub he often visited. Terrible memories and such, he nearly was trapped in some building by the Bennett witch and the Salvatores. It was a reminder that although he was an original, he was quite vulnerable as well, at least when it came to the witch, but he told himself that wouldn't happen again. He wouldn't get too comfortable, but Kol often found himself lost in his vices and tonight would be like no other.
He found himself enjoying another establishment. Drinking and having a grand time when he caught the sight of a familiar face. As if he could pick her out of crowd, it was almost magnetic and the sight of her made his eyes darker. Pent up anger was all the young original felt when he saw her and he turned around, downing his drink before he left and followed after Bonnie on the busy street of A1A. He knew it was dangerous and such and the words that Davina had told him were still going through his mind, it would only be a matter of time until she was trapped, locked up and forgotten about. The thought made him smirk and Kol kept a careful distance watching her as she walked surprisingly in the opposite direction of the apartment building. Shame that - at least for her. Perhaps tonight would be his night after all and he wouldn't require the help of the lovely Davina.
