Well this made no sense. One minute he’s in 2259, the Enterprise just starting out on the first stop of her five year mission of deep space exploration… and the next, he’s stranded planet side in 2015, in Daytona Beach. He knew that he would likely experience some strange things but… well he wasn’t expecting time travel. What happened? Did they venture too close to a black hole? There had to be a way home, it was only a matter of figuring out how.
Which, while he was a genius, he’d need more information before he could formulate any sort of a plan. It seemed like a few others were already working on the problem. He’d give it a little while before jumping into the fray himself. It wasn’t like he had magic, and if this place was to be believed… then that was a real thing. Considering the giant spiders he saw the other day, it was probably true. Or maybe it was just a science they didn’t know or understand yet. Either way, they probably had the inside track.
So instead, he tried to find the nearest, crappiest watering hole he possibly could. It took him longer than he thought it would.
“The Hanged Man.” He muttered as he looked at the dilapidated sign. Odd name for a bar in a beach town, but then, he literally had seen stranger things lately.
“So… anyone here?” He asked as he entered into the bar.
